Hilal

Hilal is an ongoing series of artworks centered around an original character I created, exploring complex themes of emotion, identity, and symbolism. The character, Hilal, serves as a visual and conceptual anchor for a collection of pieces that invite viewers to dive into the multifaceted nature of human experience. Each piece reflects different emotional states, from moments of darkness to glimpses of brightness, using color and form to evoke deep feelings and encourage personal interpretation.

The project is designed to be open-ended, allowing the audience to project their own experiences and emotions onto the work. Rather than conveying a specific, fixed message, the artworks are intended to be a mirror for the viewer’s internal world, fostering self-reflection and a sense of being understood.

Hilal is not just a character but a symbolic representation of the complexity of human feelings, touching on universal themes of growth, struggle, and healing. The series uses symbolic colors, shapes, and textures to create a sense of mysticism and depth, offering a space for personal exploration. Ultimately, Hilal is a visual journey that connects on an emotional level, providing an opportunity for the viewer to reflect on their own story through the art.

Currently, this project is a work in progress, and what you see is the first phase of the painting. It is still unfinished, with many more layers to be added. As the series evolves, I will continue to reveal the different stages of Hilal’s development, showcasing the ongoing transformation and deeper exploration of its themes.
